Any student enrolled at Ohio University for one (1) or more
credit hours can obtain prescriptions at the Student Health
Pharmacy during the quarter in which they are enrolled.
Please present your student ID card at the time of service
or another photo ID.
We accept prescriptions from any physician in the United
States of America. Your physician may write you a prescription,
phone in at (740-593-4738), or fax in at (740-597-1834).
All charges for prescriptions are paid at the cashier's office in
Chubb Hall. The bill should be paid by the end of the current
quarter. The pharmacy DOES NOT accept presciption drug cards.
If you wish to use an insurance card you should take your
prescription to one of 5 local pharmacies. We charge the students
the cost of the medication that we have to paid for it. We also
provide drug information and an itemized receipt for each prescription.
